Biker from Northfleet dies after crash at A20 junction with M26 at Nepicar Roundabout in Wrotham Heath

A motorcyclist has died after a crash on one of Kent's busiest trunk roads, Kent Police have confirmed.

The rider crashed on the A20 Nepicar Roundabout which joins the M26 at Wrotham Heath earlier this morning.

Officers are now appealing for information following the fatality at junction 2A just before 9am.

The 53-year-old man from Northfleet came off his metallic-coloured Kawasaki ZX 600 bike and was pronounced dead at the scene.

No other vehicles are believed to have been involved and the motorcyclist’s next of kin have been informed.

The roundabout was closed following the incident but had been reopened by 12.50pm.

Officers from the Serious Collision Investigation Unit would like to hear from anyone who saw what happened or who witnessed the vehicle in the moments before or afterwards.
