CCTV released after cash raid on Lidl in Quarry Hill Road

Police have issued CCTV images of a man wanted over the theft of a cash from a Tonbridge supermarket.

The incident saw a man enter the Lidl in Quarry Hill Road and going to the till to pay for a packet of peanuts. As the cashier opened the register he allegedly grabbed bundles of £10 and £20 notes before running off.

The incident happened on Saturday, October 7 but only now have Kent Police released details.

The man is believed to be aged between 20 to 30 years old and is white, around 5ft 6ins tall and of slim build. He was wearing a black jacket and carried a rucksack.
