Police are hunting a man wearing a head torch and carrying a pillowcase who stole cigarettes from a newsagent near Sevenoaks.

Officers received a report a man, wearing a head torch had entered the shop in London Road, Riverhead, at around 4am on Thursday and took the cigarettes.

The offender is described as being of heavy build with dark brown hair and wearing dark clothes.

Police also said he was carrying a white sack or pillowcase and left the scene on a motorbike.
