Motorists faced delays today after a crash on the M20.

Queues were back to Junction 8 for Leeds Castle, in Maidstone, as a result of a collision involving a lorry and a car on the London-bound carriageway.

The incident happened at 5.40am between Junction 4 for Leybourne and Junction 3 for Borough Green. No-one was injured.

All lanes had reopened by 7am but drivers were still facing tailbacks at 8.30am.

Slow moving traffic was also reported around Maidstone town centre and Aylesford.
