Snodland: E-fit released after distraction burglary in Nevill Road

Police have issued an e-fit after a burglar stole a gold necklace from a Snodland pensioner.

A man approached an elderly woman in Nevill Road on Wednesday last week (August 3) and offered to work on her garden.

He then went into the property and made off with a gold necklace.

The suspect is described as white, in his 30s and around 5ft 10ins tall. He is slim and clean shaven.

Similar reports have also been received for two properties in East Malling which may be linked.

In the first, a handbag was taken from a property in Lilac Green, East Malling, on Wednesday, July 27 between 2.30pm and 3pm.

In the second, a mobile phone was taken from Dickens Drive, East Malling, between 3pm and 3.15pm on Monday, August 1.
