Larkfield: Fire crews tackle disused factory blaze

Two fire crews have tackled a blaze at a disused factory in Larkfield.

Firefighters responded to a call shortly after 5pm yesterday and began putting out the fire in an industrial tank at the derelict building in Bellingham Way.

Crews used a high-pressure hose reel jet and breathing apparatus before the fire was put out at 6.40pm.

Nobody is believed to have been injured in the fire and the cause of the blaze is currently unknown.
