Delays as Williams Brothers Transport truck alight at the junction of Gighill Road and Leybourne Way in Larkfield

A lorry fire has been causing hold-ups in Larkfield today.

Witnesses reported seeing the cab of a Williams Brothers Transport truck alight at the junction of Gighill Road and Leybourne Way at just before 11.30am.

Smoke could be seen billowing from the cab as the road remained blocked.

Two fire engines, a fire response car and police attended.

Delays remained after the fire was extinguished.  No one was injured in the blaze.
