Larkfield man arrested for shoplifting and assault following incident at Tesco

A 21-year-old man has been charged following a disturbance at a supermarket in Larkfield.

Abie Ianson, from Lunsford Lane, Larkfield, was arrested after officers were called to Tesco, Lunsford Park, at 9.20pm on Monday.

He has now been charged with racially abusing a member of staff, theft, assault and a second public order offence.

He appeared before Maidstone Magistrates' Court this morning and was remanded in custody until his next court appearance.
