Kent Police appealing for witnesses after woman hit by car in Aylesford assault

Police are investigating after a woman was attacked and hit by a car.

The victim and three young children were passengers in a vehicle being driven by the alleged attacker.

It is reported that the woman got out of the Land Rover in Hall Road Aylesford, and was then knocked down.

She was then forced back inside the car by the driver, said to be around 6ft 1in with spikey dark brown hair and hazel eyes.

The children, who had also left the car, got back inside.

It's believed the victim, who suffered injuries to her face and her left arm, and the offender know each other.

The attack happened at 5.39pm on Saturday, January 30.

The car involved was driving towards the junction with the A20 London Road and the Quarry Wood Industrial Estate.

DC Leanne Carter said: "There were a number of people in the area at the time and I am keen to hear from them.

"Any piece of information, no matter how small you may consider it to be, could help us investigate this case."
