Emergency services were called to Rocfort Road in Snodland this afternoon after a young girl was hit by a car.

The accident happened just after 2.30pm this afternoon. The child is understood to have been cycling at the time of the crash.

Two police cars and an ambulance were called to the scene.

A spokesman for Secamb said: "The child was assessed and treated before being taken to Tunbridge Wells Hospital."
