Sevenoaks home targeted by pair of bike thieves

Police are hunting a pair of bike thieves who pinched two high-end bicycles from a garage near Sevenoaks.

The bikes were reported to have been stolen between 7.25pm and 7.30pm on Sunday from Birchfield, Sundridge.

The victim was in his garage when he had to go into his home briefly and left the garage door open.

He was in his house for around two minutes when he came back and realised two bicycles had been stolen. The bikes are both of high value.

One bike, made by Whyte is a T-130 model and is orange in colour. The bike has Maxxis Beaver tyres.

The second bike is a Santa Cruz Hightower mountain bike which is black in colour. There is orange and mint green detailing on the frame and the sea post is gold coloured.

Police would like to trace two suspects leaving the scene who were believed to be carrying the bikes while riding away on a moped.

The two people were described as male and wearing motocross helmets. The passenger on the bike was described as wearing a hi-visibility jacket.
