Tonbridge: Two arrested after cash machine tampered with

Two men have been arrested following reports they were seen tampering with a cash machine in Tonbridge.

Kent Police was called to a location outside a supermarket in Angel Lane at around 12am today.

Officers identified a car the suspects were travelling in and the vehicle was stopped a short time later in St John’s Road, Tunbridge Wells.

The men, aged 26 and 28, were arrested in connection with theft offences and remain in police custody.
