Police searching for a missing man, who was last seen in the Snodland area, have confirmed a body has been found.

The man's body was found close to woodland in Farnborough in Hampshire at around 4pm yesterday.

A formal identification has not yet been made, but the family of Jonathan Strickland, a 28-year-old man reported missing from Northampton on Thursday, and last seen in the Snodland area, has been informed.

The death is not being treated as suspicious.
