A rolling roadblock was put in place on the M20.
This is reportedly due to emergency repairs taking place on the carriageway at junction five for Aylesford.
Traffic was being held while potholes are filled on the slip road off the carriageway towards the roundabout.
There was heavy traffic in the area as a result, which cleared shortly before 1pm.
