Snodland: Family's summer holiday plans ruined after £28,000 motorhome stolen from Ritch Road

Heartless thieves stole a Snodland family's new £28,000 motorhome - a week before they were due to go on holiday.

The vehicle was taken from the driveway of a house in Ritch Road between 9pm and 10pm last night.

The owner Jan Anderson discovered the Ford Chausson Flash 03 missing when she returned home.

Mrs Anderson cares for two foster children with learning difficulties. She was planning on taking on a fortnight trip down to Clacton-On-Sea and through Dorset from Monday (August 22).

"Whoever did this, they are scum, they are lowlifes. Normal people just don't do this" - Jan Anderson

The 58-year-old said:"My husband and I have taken them on holiday a lot over the last couple of years. It can take a lot of planning as one of them is autistic.

"We haven't yet told them about what has happened.
