Two Chatham men arrested on suspicion of attempting to steal fuel in Ditton

Two men have both arrested in connection with attempts to siphon fuel from vehicles in Ditton.

Police stopped a car in Kiln Barn Road in the early hours of this morning following reports of suspicious activity. 

The suspects, aged 40 and 21 and from Chatham, were arrested at 2.05am on suspicion of going equipped for theft and remain in police custody.
