Two talented singers from Medway will appear on the hit TV show The Voice tonight.

Joseph Apostol (right), 21, who is a student at MidKent College in Gillingham, will be seen by millions when he appears on the BBC talent show.

Joseph Apostol, who lives in Gillingham,and is originally from the Philippines.

He moved to the UK when he was 10 and describes himself as a big joker and says his mum is his biggest fan.

He dreams of getting signed and making music and touring the world.

Also appearing is rocker Adam Barron, 27, from Chatham, who is known to his friends as Teen Wolf, because he is hairy has been gigging for years and is ready to bring rock music back into the charts.

As well as his love of music, Adam is a big family man and has two sons he adores.

He dreams of winning The Voice so he can provide for his children by doing a job he loves.

The pair are featured in the final week of the blind audtion stage.

It’s the final week of blind auditions and the final opportunity for artists to claim the remaining places on the coaches’ respective teams, as the search to find the UK’s next great voice continues.

They will attempt to win support from some of the biggest names in muci, including Sir Tom Jones, Jessie J (pictured below), will.iam and Danny O'Donaghue, when they take to the stage.

Once the coaches have each chosen their 12 singers, they will then dedicated themselves to devleoping their artists.

They will share the secrets of their success and make their team's voices the best they can secrets of their successes so they can be the best to move on to next week's battle rounds.

Joseph's tutors said if he performs like they know he can, he stands a fantastic chance of being picked for one of the music superstars.

Louise Molton, head of creative and visual arts at the Gillingham campus, said: “Joseph is a really amenable, lovely student.

“He’s very humble in terms of his own vocal skills but we’re confident he can go on to achieve great things in his career.

“Appearing on The Voice is a fantastic opportunity for Joseph and we’re all behind him.”

Joseph has already performed several times in front of staff and students at MidKent College, in Medway Road, including the opening of the campus’ soundproof live room in November.

He also received a standing ovation at the annual student awards ceremony in January after wowing the audience with another spectacular voice performance.

The Voice is on BBC1 at 8.05pm.
