Emergency services were called to a field as an elderly man appeared to suffer a head injury this afternoon.
He was taken away by the air ambulance after it landed in Jackson's Field in Rochester.
It appears he suffered a head injury but was sitting up and talking to the crew.
The circumstances surrounding the incident have not yet been confirmed and the helicopter left the scene just after 1pm.
Two land ambulances were also at the scene to assist.
South East Coast Ambulance Service spokesman Rich Airey confirmed it was an incident at a private address but would not give more details.
Earlier today, the air ambulance was called to Minster on Sheppey.
