Kent Police appeal after Rochester pub assault - London woman arrested

Police are appealing for witnesses to a reported assault in a Rochester pub.

It was reported that just after 4pm on Saturday, a woman allegedly assaulted a man by hitting him with a glass in The Golden Lion in the High Street.

The victim left the pub shortly afterwards.

A 28-year-old woman from London was arrested on suspicion of assault and has been bailed pending further inquires.

Officers are asking anyone who witnessed the incident to call 01634 792333, quoting crime reference XY/040491/14.
