Kent Police have appealed for information after a man was attacked at The Huntsman pub in Rochester

Detectives have appealed for information after a man was glassed in the face and repeatedly kicked in a "sustained" pub attack.

Officers investigating the assault at The Huntsman in Pattens Lane, Rochester, which left the victim with a serious facial injury, have released a CCTV image of a man they want to speak to.

It was reported that the victim had been talking to a man and a woman at the bar, before the man then hit him in the face with a glass.

After the victim fell to the ground, the man is then said to have kicked him repeatedly in a sustained assault.

The victim was taken to hospital where he received treatment and was later released.

The attack happened at about 11.40pm on Saturday, December 12.

The suspect is described as white and aged in his 30s, with dark brown hair. He was wearing a brown jacket and jeans.
