Firefighters were called out to a bathroom blaze at a home in Fulmar Road, Rochester

Firefighters were called out to a bathroom blaze at a home in Rochester last night.

Two crews were sent out to Fulmar Road at 6.50pm to the fire in a first floor bathroom.

They wore breathing apparatus and used a hose reel jet to extinguish the blaze.

Loft space above the bathroom was also checked for safety and they left the property at 7.15pm.

There are no reports of any injuries and the cause of the fire is not known.
