A crash between a motorcyclist and a car on the M2 caused delays for other motorists earlier this afternoon.
The crash happened on the coast-bound carriageway between Junction 5 for Sittingbourne and Junction 6 for Faversham, about three miles before the Faversham turn-off.
Initially the smash partially blocked the road and as a result traffic was moving slowly.
Kent Police were been called to the scene and say the both vehicles have now moved to the hard shoulder and the biker has injured his leg.
Steve Knight, spokesman for police said: "Kent Police was called at 4.31pm.
"Officers are in attendance and the motorcyclist is receiving treatment for an injury to one of his legs.
"Both vehicles are on the hard shoulder and traffic is running freely."
