Hoo: Boy flown to King's College hospital in London after fall in Main Road

A boy was taken to hospital after falling through the roof of an empty farm building.

The air ambulance, along with paramedics, a fire crew and police were called to Main Road, Hoo, yesterday just before 4pm.

The boy, aged 13, suffered injuries to his head, lower arm and lower leg in the accident.

It is thought he fell around 20ft through a warehouse roof and landed on his side. He was conscious and talking to the paramedics.

The fire service assisted paramedics in helping to rescue the teenager who was then treated at the scene before being was flown to King’s College Hospital in London.
