Police find 150 cannabis plants at home in Luton Road, Chatham

Police say they have discovered a cannabis factory at a house in Chatham.

Forensic officers and their vehicles, as well a patrol vehicles are currently at the property in Luton Road.

Officers were called to the house, next to the Gandhi Tandoori, earlier this morning and say they found more than 100 cannabis plants inside.

A spokesman said: “Kent Police was called at 2.47am on Wednesday, February 22 to a report of suspicious activity at an address in Luton Road, Chatham.

“Officers attended the property and found a cannabis factory containing approximately 150 plants.

“No arrests have been made and enquiries are ongoing.”
