A crash involving four vehicles has been causing delays on Blue Bell Hill.

It happened northbound at Chatham Road heading towards the Lord Lees Roundabout at around 4.20pm.

Emergency services were called to the scene and two lanes were initially blocked, causing traffic to build up on surrounding roads.

KCC Highways have since confirmed all lanes re-opened at 5pm, but warned a lane closure may be needed later to recover the vehicles involved, which have been moved to the side of the road.

A spokesman said: "Long delays remain on the approach from M20 J6, however they should now start to clear."
