A crash, thought to have involved an articulated lorry and a motorbike, caused delays in Chatham this morning.

Police were called to the A229 Maidstone Road near the roundabout for Horsed Retail Park at 7.24am.

Officers were joined by paramedics from the South East Coast Ambulance Service but no serious injuries have been reported.

MidKent College in Medway Road, Gillingham, tweeted to ask students, who were due to take exams this morning, to phone ahead if they were stuck in traffic.
