Crews battle blaze in Orchard Street, Rainham

Crews were called to Orchard Street, Rainham, just after 9pm last night as a fire spread from garden shed to the back of a house.
 
Firefighters from Rainham were on the scene for just over an hour, battling with hose-reel jets, a hydrant, and a covering jet to stop the fire spreading further.

The shed and a quantity of rubbish was destroyed, and the back of the house was partially damaged.

There were no injuries and the cause is unknown.
