19 May 2014
by Clare Freeman

A driver was taken to hospital late last night after an accident in Wouldham.

The man's car came off the road and went into a field at around 11:50pm.

A spokesman from Strood Fire Station said the man was already out of his car when they reached the scene in Burham Road.

The 28-year-old suffered head, thorax and upper arm injuries.

He was treated at the scene and taken to King's College Hospital in London.

The air ambulance landed at the scene and its medics help to treat the driver but the driver was taken to hospital by land ambulance.
