E-fit released by Kent Police after attempted bag snatch in Lordswood Lane, Chatham

Detectives investigating an attempted robbery in Chatham, have released a computer-generated image of a man they would like to speak to.

A woman was walking along a footpath off Lordswood Lane when she was approached by a man who attempted to grab her handbag, at about 7.15am on Saturday, November 1.

She screamed and the man ran away empty-handed in the direction of Kingston Crescent.

The suspect is described as having olive skin and dark brown eyes. He was wearing a black hooded top with a zip.
