Emergency services were called to a road crash in Stood

Fire fighters were called to a road crash in the early hours of Saturday, December 2.

Kent Fire and Rescue Services attended the incident on Commercial Road at the junction of Station Road, in Strood, at 3.44am where they used hydraulic rescue equipment to remove the roof of a car to release a man who was trapped by his injuries in the vehicle.

The casualty was passed into the care of the ambulance service.
