Emergency services have been looking for a missing man in Strood this afternoon.
Officers were called at 12.50pm to Slatin Road, Strood due to concerns for the welfare of a missing man.
Coastguard teams from Medway, Sheppey and Herne Bay were asked to help search the river. They were stood down just before 3pm.
He was found near Rochester High Street and taken to Medway Maritime Hospital as a precaution.
