A hectare of woodland blazed in Wainscott today.
Kent Fire and Rescue Service were called to with the fire in woodland just off of Haven Street at 11.09am.
The fire travelled through the thick pine needled floor and crews used a hose reel jet and beaters to tackle it.
In July last year an area nearby caught light and three acres went up in smoke.
The two fire crews extinguished the flames by 1pm.
