Gillingham woman Kelly Taylor, of Leitch Row, charged with attempted murder after man suffered serious head injuries

A Gillingham woman is due to appear in crown court next month charged with attempted murder.

Police were called just before 11.10am on Friday, April 17, to an address in Leitch Row in the town, after it was reported a man had suffered serious head injuries.

The 50-year-old victim suffered concussion and cut injuries to his head and is recovering in hospital.

Kelly Taylor, 39, of Leitch Row, was arrested at the scene and later charged with attempted murder.

Its is understood the man is Taylor's husband.

She appeared at Medway Magistrates’ Court on Saturday, April, 18 where she was remanded in custody to appear at Maidstone Crown Court on Friday, May 8.
