Great Lines attack: third man charged

A third teenager is due in court today (Wednesday) charged with robbery in connection with an attack which left two teenagers with head injuries.

Nicky Taylor, an 18-year-old student of Madhuran Court, London Road, Strood, will appear before Medway Magistrates after being charged and remanded in custody following an incident in Gillingham on Sunday, January 20.

Two other teenagers were charged and bailed earlier this week.

Thomas Hawkins, 19, of Frindsbury Road, Strood, is due to appear at Medway Magistrates Court on Monday, February 4 and a 16-year-old boy from Strood,who cannot be named for legal reasons, will appear at the same court on February 22.

It follows an incident at the Great Lines where two teenagers were taken to Medway Maritime Hospital with head injuries after allegedly being robbed by a gang.
