Injured man still critical after brawl

A Medway man is still in a critical condition in a London Hospital after being seriously injured in mass brawl last weekend.

Spencer Dodgson, 27, was left fighting for his life after the fight which happened outside the Casino Rooms nighclub in Rochester, in the early hours of Sunday morning.

He suffered serious head injuries during the brawl.

Six men who were arrested in connection with the incident, in Blue Boar Lane, have since been released from custody.

Three, who are all from the London area, have been bailed until Monday, April 19, pending further enquiries.

One man from Orpington was cautioned for pubic order offences, two others were released without charge.

A seventh man, also from the London area, was arrested on this morning on suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm with intent.

He has also been bailed pending further enquiries, until, Wednesday, May 12.

Police were called to the car park in Blue Boar Lane, at about 3.10am after a fight involving a large group of men broke out.

Mr Dodgson, from Strood, is a former Temple and Hundered of Hoo school pupil.

He remains in a critical but stable condition in hospital after suffering a serious bruising on his brain.

Detectives investigating the incident are appealing for witnesses and want to speak to anyone who was in the area at the time of the fight to contact them.
