Invicta Dynamos will adopt a more defensive approach against Cardiff ENL Devils in the first leg of their ENIHL Division 1 first round play-off game.

Mos have lost 8-3 and 3-0 in Wales this season and head coach Kevin Parrish, pictured, believes a defeat of similar proportions on Saturday will leave his side with too much to do in the second leg at the Silver Blades on Sunday (5.15pm).

Parrish said: "We have got to shut up shop a little bit and try to keep them away from our net as much as possible, while capitalising on powerplays.

"We have been working on something for the past couple of weeks, and if we can keep it tight on Saturday then it will open up the game for us at home and we can really go for it.

"It’s a 120-minute game. We are not going to win it in Cardiff, but we could certainly lose it."

The teams have met four times already this season, with both sides winning twice. In their most recent clash last month Dynamos won 7-2 at home. The winners will meet either league champions Romford Raiders or Milton Keynes Thunder in the last four.

Mos lost 7-5 at Wightlink Raiders in their final Division 1 Cup game to finish third in the table with two wins from six matches.
