Invicta Dynamos staged a dramatic last third fightback against Streatham Redskins on Saturday but were unable to avoid defeat.

A disappointing first two periods saw the Mos trailing 6-2 to the Brixton-based side in NIHL South Division 1. A flurry of goals in the last made for a tense finish but Redskins held on to win 7-6.

It was the fourth and final meeting between the sides and Redskins’ win makes it all-square at two wins each.

Kevin Parrish’s side returned to NIHL Southern Cup action on Sunday, against the Bracknell Hornets at Silver Blades and won 8-3, to maintain their 100% record in the competition.

Joe Bliss, Anthony Leone and Peter Vaisanen scored to put the Mos 3-1 ahead at the end of the first period.

Three more unanswered goals followed in the second, with two for Justin Noble (pictured) and another from Vaisanen.

Noble completed his treble in the final session and Andy Smith also added his name to the scoresheet in the victory.
