US President Donald Trump has cancelled his trip to Britain.

He was due to be visiting the newly-built American Embassy in London, but killed the plans in a tweet earlier today.

The controversial leader was originally due to have a state visit in which he would have been a guest of the Queen before his trip was downgraded.

KMTV asked people in Chatham what they thought of his decision.
