Former Chatham Grammar School pupil and Blue singer Lee Ryan has been arrested and charged with criminal damage.

The 30-year-old was pulled over by police in west London early yesterday morning on suspicion of drink-driving.

He allegedly refused to provide a breath test and was taken into custody.

It is also alleged he was in possession of Class A drugs.

He was charged with criminal damage and failing to provide a specimen.

He has been bailed and is due to appear before Ealing Magistrates Court on May 2.
