A road was closed this afternoon after a lorry caught fire.
Ratcliffe Way, Hoo was closed when a cement mixer lorry caught alight.
Two fire engines from Strood attended the incident and were on scene from 2:30pm until 4pm.
A spokesman from the station said: “We extinguished the fire but then had to control a fuel leak to prevent diesel entering the drains and going into the water system.”
A spokesperson from Kent Police said they attended to assist with the road closure.
