Mantas Arlauskas from Chatham charged after disturbance

A man has been charged with being drunk and disorderly after a disturbance in Chatham yesterday.

Police were called out to the bus station area shortly after 2.30pm and arrested Mantas Arlauskas, 40, at the scene.

Three police cars and a police van were sent to the scene and Arlauskas, of Flamingo Close, Chatham, was arrested on suspicion of being drunk and disorderly.

A spokesman for police said: “Kent Police was called at 2.39pm to a report of a disturbance in The Brook, Chatham.

"The man was charged with being drunk and disorderly in a public place.

“He has been bailed to appear in court on Tuesday, October 17."
