Alexander Cashford, from Moor Street, Rainham will appear in court after being charged with theft from vehicles

A man has appeared in court after been charged with theft from vehicles in the Medway and Dartford areas.

Officers arrested him on Friday, December 19, following reports fog lights and badges had been taken from vehicles.

The next day, Alexander John Cashford, 38, of Moor Street, Rainham, was charged with six counts of theft from motor vehicle, acquiring criminal property and going equipped for theft.

It is understood some of the incidents happened in Rochester.

He appeared via virtual court at Medway Magistrates’ Court on Monday, December 22, where he was remanded in custody.

Cashford will next appear at Maidstone Crown Court, on Friday, January 9.
