Homeless man charged with fraud and knife offence will appear before magistrates in Medway

A man has been charged with a fraud and knife offence after he allegedly bought booze with someone else's bank card.

Przemyslaw Krajewski, 31, of no fixed address, was charged with one count of theft and one count of fraud on Wednesday.

The charges related to an incident on Friday, February 16, where it is alleged he bought alcohol from several stores using the card.

It is understood the card was used to try and get more alcohol from a supermarket in Strood, but it did not work.

It is alleged Krajewski then tried to steal some alcohol instead but was stopped leaving the shop.

He was also charged with one count of possession of a knife in a public place after officers apparently found a knife in his bag after he was arrested.

Krajewski as been bailed to appear before Medway Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday, April 10.
