Man cut free from wreckage after Upper Stoke crash

Firefighters worked with paramedics to treat and free a man trapped in a car after a crash.

Crews used hydraulic rescue equipment to cut free the man from the wreckage of his vehicle after the two-car crash on Malmaynes Hall Road in Upper Stoke just after 6pm last night.

They stabilised the car while paramedics from the Kent Air Ambulance treated the casualty and then took him to hospital.
