Stephen Nowlan due to deny attempting to murder Rafal Zieminski at Great Lines Park in Gillingham

A man accused of trying to kill a rough sleeper in Medway appeared at Maidstone Crown Court today.

Stephen Nowlan, 33, will deny attempting to murder 40-year-old Rafal Zieminski when he returns to court to enter a plea on January 15 next year, said his lawyer Danny Moore.

Mr Zieminski suffered multiple stab wounds on August 18 while living in a tent at the Great Lines Park in Gillingham.
