Strood man Chedi Eneh charged with threatening three boys with air rifle in Strood alleyway

A man from Strood will appear in court charged with threatening three boys with an air rifle.

Police were called to reports two 11-year-old boys and a 10-year-old boy were threatened with a firearm in an alleyway leading to Knight Road in the town.

Kent Police said officers then quickly made an arrest.

Chedi Eneh, previously of Seagull Road, is charged with possession of an air weapon with intent to cause fear of violence.

The 19-year-old, who has moved out of the Towns since the incident, has been bailed and will appear at Medway Magistrates' Court on Tuesday, October 22.

The incident happened at around 3pm on Wednesday, August 21.
