Man taken to hospital after stabbing off Pier Road in Gillingham

Ambulance crews treated a man after a stabbing off Pier Road in Gillingham this afternoon.

Police were also called to the address at around 5pm, where a man was said to be suffering from a stab wound.

A police statement said police had "made enquiries and believe there are no suspicious circumstances.

"Officers are not looking for anyone else in connection with the incident at this time."

The man has been taken to hospital for treatment for a non-life threatening injury.
