An off-duty paramedic, fireman and police officer went to the aid of a van driver injured when his tyre blew out this morning.
Firefighters were called to the London-bound carriageway, just before Cobham Services, at around 5.45am.
One of the tyres on the man's van is said to have suffered a blowout. The van ended up on the embankment.
An off-duty paramedic, fireman and police officer, who were in the area at the time, helped the driver out of the van before firefighters arrived.
He is reported to have suffered spinal injuries.
