Man in his 50s taken to hospital by the air ambulance after accident at Deangate Ridge Golf Club

A man was flown to hospital after suffering a head injury at a golf club yesterday afternoon.

Paramedics were called to Deangate Ridge Golf Club, Hoo, at 1.50pm to reports a man in his 50s had been accidentally struck on the head with a golf club.

He was taken to St George's Hospital in London by the air ambulance with potentially serious injuries.

An ambulance, paramedic car, community first responder and the air ambulance were called.
