A three-car crash on the roundabout near the entrance to the Medway Tunnel in Strood caused traffic jams this morning.

The road leading off Anthonys Way on Medway City Estate was partially blocked after the accident at about 7.35am.

One man has been taken to Medway Maritime Hospital with minor injuries,

Police are at the scene awaiting for the vehicles, a Ford Focus, a BMW and a Vauxhall to be recovered.

Ambulance crews were also in attendance.

A police spokesman warned of delays with traffic queuing back through the tunnel and beyond.
